Suppose when you are playing a game or working on the Windows 10 OS, and suddenly you see the “Your PC ran into a problem and needs to restart” error message in front of you. Moreover, in case the RAM in Windows 10 system is performing at a higher percentage than the OS accepts, then you will see this error. If you are getting out of it, then here are some fixes to solve your problem.

Boot into the Safe Mode

To boot into the safe mode, follow these steps provided below:

  1. Hold the Win and I hotkeys altogether on the keyboard to launch the Settings application.
  2. Thereafter, go to the ‘Update & Security’ section and click on it.
  3. You should choose the ‘Recovery’ option through the left menu and hit on the button of ‘Restart now’ inside the section of ‘Advanced startup.’
  4. You will get an options list on your screen. Choose the ‘Troubleshoot’ option.
  5. Then click on the ‘Advanced options’ and later pick the ‘Startup Settings’ option.
  6. Now, hit on the button of Restart.

Perform an SFC

To perform an SFC, follow these steps provided below:

  1. Hold the Win and X altogether over the keyboard to launch the menu.
  2. Afterward, click on the ‘Command Prompt (Admin)’ option. In case Command Prompt does not appear, you should use the PowerShell (Admin) option.
  3. Once open the Command Prompt, perform this command: sfc /scannow
  4. Now, the SFC scan will begin, and this procedure will take some time.

Run System Restore

To run system restore, follow these steps provided below:

  1. To invoke the Search section, hold the Win and S hotkeys altogether over the keyboard to launch the Search section.
  2. You should input ‘system restore’ in it and hit the Enter key to launch the ‘Create a restore point’ through the list.
  3. You will get the System Properties screen and then choose the button of System Restore.
  4. Then System Restore will begin and then hit on the Next button.
  5. In case it’s applicable, mark the ‘Show more restore points’ box.
  6. Finally, you require to select the preferred restore point and then hit the Next button.
  7. Now, pursue the instruction to finish the restoration procedure.

Look for Windows Updates

To look for Windows updates, follow these steps provided below:

  1. At first, launch the Settings application.
  2. After that, reach the section of ‘Update & Security.’
  3. Go to the right panel and select the button of ‘Check for updates.’

Choose the Startup Repair Option

To choose the startup repair option, follow these steps provided below:

  1. Firstly, input the Operating System recovery disc, turn on the system, and hit any button to boot through the DVD.
  2. That will launch Windows Setup, within which you should hit the Next button.
  3. After that, choose the option of ‘Repair your computer.’
  4. Go to the Troubleshoot option and click on it.
  5. Then reach the ‘Advanced options’ and choose it, then hit on the option of ‘Startup Repair.’
  6. Now, click on the target OS to fix it.
  7. Finally, Windows will start the repair process and then reboot.
